The Full Story
As a therapist, I strive to empower my clients with greater self-awareness and practical tools
for navigating life’s challenges. I believe in viewing every individual within the context of their
unique environment, which allows me to provide individualized care that is strengths-based,
culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed.
In my practice, I prioritize building a positive, empathic, and non-judgmental therapeutic
alliance. I view our work as a true collaboration, where I aim to equip my clients to be the
experts of their own lives. I take an integrative approach to therapy; while I primarily utilize
CBT, I adapt DBT, IFS, and art interventions as needed to help you meet your treatment
goals.
My clinical background includes specialized training in trauma and abuse. Having worked
with diverse populations—from immigrants and domestic violence survivors in New York to
The US military community in South Korea—I find great purpose in helping people reconcile
with their past experiences, so they can thrive in the present.
