Autumn Roorda
The Full Story
Hello, I’m Autumn, and I am joining Talk to Heal Counseling as a Master of Social Work (MSW) intern from the University of Georgia. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
I have experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, as well as an intake coordinator and a psychometrist. These experiences, along with my studies in Sociology and Psychology at Georgia State University, have shaped my passion for trauma-informed, strengths-based care.
I am especially dedicated to working with individuals and families affected by autism, as well as those experiencing stress, trauma, and life transitions. In every session, I strive to meet clients with empathy, respect, and a focus on resilience and growth.
